It appears as if Google can’t win for losing. Revenue up, strong profits but stock falls. It happens every quarter and as long as Google stays strong with giving no guidance to Wall Street it will keep happening. All the while they do a better job than most in getting things done well.

We are so busy trying to impress each other in this industry that we just forget that when trying to impress a customer or a prospect it needs to be more like chatting with them at the corner store. Instead we talk about mining, cultivating, curating and whatever else it is we do to these people (oh yea they really are people!). We lose our humanity when we try to impress people. Let’s stop it, please.
