It’s Been A Week Already? Aol. Plus E-mail and Social Media

I think I fell asleep at the wheel during last week’s ridiculous heat here in NC. So I am going to get right back in the saddle with a few posts from today.

Aol. Looking for New Search Partner(s) – Marketing Pilgrim

As Aol. (that is their actual new logo / design, btw) continues to deflect charges of its content farm approach to filling up the web with (insert expletive here), it has realized that it also needs to get a new search agreement in place. Of course, if you create that much ‘content’ around important keywords (as opposed to actual observation and relevance) you better have a way to best sift through the crud.

E-mail and social media are starting to get along fine. It’s the whole mobile deal that has businesses playing catch up to industry chatter.

Frank Thinking: Since I mentioned being back in the saddle earlier, I will let the “Toxic Twins” (Aerosmith’s Steven Tyler and Joe Perry) turn that phrase like no one else can.
