LinkedIn and NY Times – Unlikely Bedfellows For Sure

by Frank Reed on August 15, 2008

linkedin-logo.jpgI have blogged in the past about my preference for LinkedIn as a professional social networking avenue. That nyt-image.jpeghasn’t changed at all. In fact, I am realizing right now how little I actually use it myself and now I am holding off the urge to go right to LinkedIn to just say I did. You see, this is why I don’t too caught up in the whole social networking / social media craze because I could easily just get sucked into the vortex and never be seen again. Since I have a business to run and my family might (emphasis on might) be upset that I would go AWOL for the sake of shameless self promotion, I fight back hard on the urge. Now LinkedIn is making themselves even more attractive as they go “legit” in a partnership with the venerable New York Times. Talk about getting the Internet’s version of the Good Housekeeping Seal of Approval!
