Hi Frank:

Merry Christmas to you and your family as well.

My reasons for getting up in the morning - my two beautiful children! The greatest blessings that God has ever given me.

I hope your holidays have been wonderful so far. Have a safe and joyous New Years.

Likewise, I wish you and all your readers nothing but the best in 2009! while things are a bit scary now, as you said, it shall pass.

Take care, and keep writing.

Good on you for making no apologies for wishing everyone a "Merry Christmas!" When it's something we celebrate & the intent is to share that celebratory feeling -- not imply presumed or required participation -- such greetings should never be in question. In turn, I would love to be wished & Happy Chanukah or Kwanzaa for how else can I learn of & to appreciate other traditions.

That aside, your query intrigued me.. The reason I get up again & again (which is a bigger deal than it could be due to chronic pain) is experience. I crave more, enjoy all & love sharing what it teaches me w/others. Moreover, places like Twitter allow for more shared experiences then ever before which is all the more rare if often house-bound. So, my addiction to people, my desire to help & need to communicate really comes down to the daily pursuit of experience. Not only are experiences what we truly possess but miraculous ones become plentiful when you live in the moment.

Thank you for this moment & the opportunity to mull that over. ^_^

(|_|*cheers*|_|)
