So Many People; So Much Time

by Frank Reed on August 27, 2009

Well it’s been almost 6 weeks since my last post. I think I might have something to say.

First, I didn’t post for the longest time because I have been busy. Real busy. Three kids and a business (oh yes, and I can’t forget the Mrs.!) make time a real scarce commodity. Or so I thought.

I, like so many others, am constantly making and remaking myself. We do something and it’s good but it doesn’t last as long as we thought so you readjust. We do something and it train wrecks and it hangs around for SO much longer than we thought but we readjust. Life moves on at an ever increasing rate of speed and for the longest time my reaction has been to yell out “Stop the train, I want to get off!”

Well, I have been wrong. I don’t want to get off the train. I want to get back in it and walk around and reintroduce myself to the people who have been along for the ride with me for so many years. I have lost track of so many but they are still building families and careers etc. I am now just thinking about how many of them I may have been able to help with business ‘stuff’ if only we still had some open line of communication. How may I have been of service in a time of dire need for them? I’m actually mourning that fact a little.

So today I look at this whole Internet marketing thing with a new set of eyes. While I definitely want to meet new and exciting people, I just as importantly need to revisit the people I know and find out what is new and exciting for them. I need to reintroduce myself to some very good folks who already know me (or at least the me from whenever ago). So here it goes. I am getting back in because there are people to talk to, people to care for, business deals to be made and who knows what else. As far as I am concerned only God knows and that’s just fine with me. I just need to take another step.

So here I am. Frank Reed. Married to Hope. Father of 3. Friend to many. I have a business called FT Internet Marketing, Inc. where I do consulting and strategy work around Internet marketing (search, social etc) for some and I do contract selling (a broker of top line internet marketing services if you will) for others. I will talk to anyone and have decided that I should be doing exactly what I am doing at this time in my life and career.

I would really like to meet you. Will we be fast friends? Maybe. Maybe not. Let’s not put any pressure on each other. We’re all in this together, though, so maybe, just maybe, I can be of service to you today. If I could then it will be a good day.

Here’s to meeting you all.

I thought it had been waaaay quiet over here, Frank. I hear you on taking time out and recharging / re-focusing. Glad to hear that you’re back in the saddle, fella, and look forward to seeing what you have up your sleeve next.

Take it easy, big guy.
