Hi Vic,
First off, she was no "lady." It's like police calling someone who just went on a "murder spree" a "gentleman."
Next, I feel the same way you do about people who smoke (and with a child in the car; what an inconsiderate boob!) Here in San Diego anyone who tosses a cigarette out of the car is liable to spark a fire, devastate acres of beloved trees, flora and fauna, destroy people's homes and lives, and maybe even kill someone. It's been happening with greater frequency over the last few years.
I enjoyed your article. There is a lot to learn in the Social Networking spectrum and correct etiquette. Emily Post, where are you?

Thanks, Vic. I am always encouraged when someone comes away with something from this space.

My father-in-law is a lung cancer "survivor" meaning that he appears to be in full remission. At any rate, I have a tough time with the habit for sure.

I try to stay the course on the social media stuff but life often calls out other observations. I have another outlet frankreed.posterous.com where I put other stuff.

Thanks again for your comments. Let me know if I can ever be of service to you.

Hello Frank,
Ran across your article at WebProNews and really enjoyed reading it. Being a former smoker and lung cancer survivor I can identify with your feelings about the smoking female and the child. Lady is a word that should be reserved for Ladies. Hopefully your prayer for the child will be heard. I can understand how we sometimes sway from the real purpose of our blogs. Just yesterday I went on a rant about a "reality show" on my blog www.quitterscanbewinners.com/blog. Some things just have to be put in print in order to find personal relief.
Thanks for your variance on your blog. I truly enjoyed reading it.

Never, never, never forget that there are ex-girlfriends that will add you through their friends then spy on you too. Ha ha ha. As far as cigarettes go ... I grew up with them in my life and never considered them more than a nuisance. I will admit though, I am a smoker of 20 years now too.
