Today was a relatively slow day for news. the funniest piece though that I didn’t write about was Yahoo! Japan going with Google for its search function. Boatloads of fun on that one!
Other stuff I wrote about:
Whose Reputation is Worse Than a Member of Congress? Advertisers, Of Course! – Marketing Pilgrim
It only took me about 7 hours to see that I had been done in by a word change by Microsoft in the title of this post (semi-embarrassing but something I will recover from for sure). As for the content? Advertisers are trying to clean up their act by teaming with the University of Missouri’s School of Journalism to try to bring some ethics in to the business. What’s that they say about a zebra and his stripes?
Ask Asks If the Human Element Will Help Its Search Business – Marketing Pilgrim
Ask is taking another run at being a search player with a revised Q & A approach to search. I like the idea but I am not sure if it will make me switch.
Frank Thinking: I realized today that I sometime get a little sloppy in my posts. Does that just make me a blogger or just plain human? Perfection is not accessible on this side of the grave from my point of view. Maybe I should let up on others from time to time, huh?
I bet you have never seen a rendition of Lou Reed’s “Perfect Day” like this one.
Or this one. I usually won’t share two videos but how can’t you on this one?
