I will keep this short. In fact, from now on all posts on Frank Thinking will be short (famous last words). I
write too darn much. I’m done writing too much.
I need to get some info from you if you would spare a moment or two. Who are you? Leave a comment to tell me who you are reading this blog. Are you a:
- Business owner?
- Marketer?
- Internet marketing industry type?
- Journalist?
- Insomniac?
- Relative?
- Friend?
- Foe?
- Accidental Visitor?
Now for the fun part. Why are you here? What do you come here for? Do you get what you need most times? Tell me, really. I want to know. Tell me the truth because I know it’s been written that the truth shall set you free. Thanks.

Direct Answer
I am a Business Technology in the SMB space.
As such I consider it important that I be, if not expert, then conversant with all areas of a small business.
This include marketing, SEO, finance, sales etc.
I do not claim, or intend to claim at being an expert in these fields.
However the basic understanding of the challenges allows me to look at the internal processes and challenges of my business from lenses other than technology.
Looking through another lens can let me identify areas that technology can assist, but not just for ‘Tech’s sake’
As such, I thouroughly enjoy your blog!
Regards,
Elliot Ross

Hi Frank…I’m here because I noticed you chose to follow me on Twitter. I’ve just joined Twitter and am quite interested myself in how and why people choose to follow others’ Twitterings. I’ve just finished writing a book of 50 marketing ideas for small businesses, am in the process of producing a podcast series of the same, have created a website where bot these items will be available and am now attempting to understand the whole social media thing. I think it’s fascinating. I am also in the process of creating another website aimed solely at start up realtors. That’s it for me…feel free to stay in contact and ask any more questions. Cheers…Tim
Jim,
Thanks for stopping by. Would love to get a look at your book. Please keep coming back in the new year and add to the discussion. I am interested in ‘live’ voices who want to get better and help each other.

Tim,
I suspect that getting your name right might be part of building community.
Sorry about that!

I’m here because I saw someone else that linked to you and I came to find out what all the commotion was about. In the end, it turned out the commotion was a cat in heat outside, but the click through to this site was one that was worth the left index finger effort.
Seeing as how this is my first visit, you’ve exceeded my expectation (which were nil) and I hope to have them exceeded each and every time. No pressure. Just obligatory perfection.
